Bring the family, furry friends and all, and enjoy an entertaining day, or two, at Dartmoor Auctions in Sticklepath, Devon, this Saturday and Sunday, 4th and 5th July.

Ann Thorp, magnificent resident auctioneer, will be overseeing the sale of more than 1,000 lots including glittering gold and jewellery, vintage toys, must-have antiques and delightfully quirky curiosities. Her sidekick, the seasoned David 'Forcey' Force, will also be swinging his gavel!

You'll get to meet some of the fabulously friendly Dartmoor Auctions team, who can help and advise you on every item up for auction, as well as register new bidders and take bids. They'll also ply you with free snacks and refreshments!

Some of the key lots up for grabs include an antique 60-drawer apothecary's chest, a wonderful 1739 wooden-frame marriage bed, Victorian cast-iron street signs, a large 19th-century Black Forest mantel clock, and huge collections of Royal Albert Country Roses and Portmeirion Botanic Garden ceramics.

For lovers of more modern pieces, there's a fantastic selection of homewares, interior décor and collectibles to choose from, including some really stylish artwork.

Of course, if you can’t make it in person you can watch us online and bid via easyliveauction.co.uk
