THIS turned into a game of two halves as Zeal dominated the first but conceded five goals in the second to a strong Lympstone.

A goal down inside 15 minutes, Zeal came back well in the remaining 30 minutes of the first half with goals from Redd Cann, after a great run from Harley Cann set up the chance. A penalty was taken by Steve Pillivant, and a goal from Harly Cann, to put the home side 3-1 up at half-time.

For ten minutes of the second half Zeal looked as if they would increase their lead but the woodwork and a few near misses kept the away side in the game. Then two goals in a five-minute spell put Lymstone level. Zeal conceded a penalty to go 4-3 down then chased the game and allowed the visitors to score twice more and go through to the next round.

This week home to Winkleigh, kick-off 3pm.
