SWEEPING the board at Tavistock Golf Club's recent presentation night were some of the junior players, who collected ten trophies between them.
Club secretary, Jonathan Coe, said the club was 'very proud' of its junior players, who had done exceptionally well this season.
'On behalf of the club I would like to express our thanks to the organisers of the junior section for their time and effort, which has certainly been well rewarded.'
Also at the presentation night, club captain Shaun Kieley presented cheques for £2,300 each to his chosen charities for the year, CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids) and St Luke's Hospice.
More than £8,000 has been raised by members with the remainder of the fund going to the Archie Barton Meningitis Trust.
