LAST Thursday I was walking up to Great Mis Tor near Merrivale and discovered a letterbox placed there in 2007 by a five-year-old girl called Ellie. 

The box, sadly, had not been sealed correctly and was also cracked, thus ruining the contents. Ellie's cover page was only just readable. Ellie would now be ten and I wonder if she might read this.

I resealed the box as best as possible and replaced it so that she might find it again.  I was really impressed that a five-year-old had walked all that way to Great Mis Tor.
