A SHOWJUMPER from Tavistock has recently qualified for a trio of prestigious events.
Amanda Cole, 15, from Tavistock, will be competing in the BSJA Blue Chip national junior championships which will be held at Solihull Riding Club from April 8-13.
Amanda also recently qualified for the Bath and West Show which takes place in June and a Scope showjumping event. She rides three different ponies competitively, qualifying for the BSJA finals riding Dawn, and for the Scope event riding Dunn Island. Her ride Frankis?s Ace qualified for both the Bath and West Show and the Scope event.
The championships for under-16 riders at Solihull are organised by the British Show Jumping Association and are sponsored by Kitt, an equestrian clothing company.
Amanda has been riding since she was two-and-a-half-years of age, but she only began jumping three years ago, and has only been registered with the BSJA for 12 months.
