Horrabridge Rangers 3

Looe Town 2

HORRABRIDGE started this game strongly against an unbeaten good Looe side. For over two seasons. The work-rate of all the Horraridge team paid dividends and their opponents were not able to put their dangerous passing game together. Horrabridge were rewarded with two well taken goals from Adam Thyer.

Looe stepped up in the second half and put the Rangers' goal under pressure resulting in them drawing level with two deflected goals. Looe pressed but in the last minute a fine pass set up Adam Thyer who completed his hat-trick in fine style to win the game for Horrabridge.

Manstow FC 3

Horrabridge Rangers 1

MANSTOW were a goal up after four minutes when Rug scored from 30 yards. The next 30 minutes belonged to Horrabridge as they totally outplayed their hosts, passing the ball with real conviction and created a host of chances with the home goalkeeper denying Taylor Kingham on more than one occasion. Harry Eaton and Jack Northam were influential in the midfield for Rangers and wing-men Courtney Fry and Ollie Tugwell tested the Manstow full-backs.

Manstow scored their second with only their second shot in the half which just crept into the bottom corner. Rangers almost immediatly scored after kick-off but Northam's shot brought a fine save out of the home keeper. Whatever Manstow did throw at Rangers, the visitors defence, marshalled by the impressive Aaron Johnson, was dealt with by ease.

Horrabridge created further chances but some outstanding goalkeeping denied Northam, Kingham, Fry and Tugwell.

Manstow added a third after 60 minutes when Tuckket scored from 14 yards. Horrabridge deservedly got themselves back into the game when Courtney Fry and Harry Eaton linked up well for Ollie Tugwell to volley the ball home at the back post.
