NORTH Tawton Pre-school celebrated harvest with a Dingle Dangle Scarecrow Day.
Children and staff had a fun-packed day dressed up as scarecrows and made their own life-size Worzel as part of the celebrations.
The day was also educational for the children, who made vegetable soup and harvest bread and talked about where food comes from and people who are less fortunate than themselves.
Best dressed scarecrows were Jacob Keast and Callum Sercombe, who were awarded prizes for their efforts.
North Tawton Pre-school is also celebrating its newly extended opening hours to full-time care for children from the ages of two and a half to five years old, after a recent successful inspection from Ofsted.
North Tawton Pre-school manager Bridget Kamel said: 'It was a really wonderful day thoroughly enjoyed by all, so much effort was made by everyone.'
Opening hours for North Tawton Pre-school are 9am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday during term time.
