ST Petroc's Church at Lydford played host to a concert given by a talented young guitarist recently.
P J Bennett played in the church a number of times in his early years but now, aged 17, he is developing his early potential and treated the audience to an hour's programme of excellent and varied music.
P J is studying at Cetham's School of Music in Manchester and will be there for another year. After that he hopes to go to London to continue his training, with his sights firmly set on a career in guitar music.
A retiring collection of £340 was taken, which was shared between St Petroc's Church and P J's grandmother's charity Helen and Douglas House, which provides hospice care for children and young people.
