YOUNG farmers from all over Devon travelled to Highgrove to see the organic farm and gardens recently.

Young Farmers? Club members were shown the gardens around the house in the morning and then travelled to the Duchy home farm, Broadfield Farm, in the afternoon.

Members had won this opportunity by competing in the conservation in farming competition, which was won by Culm Valley YFC.

They had visited a Duchy farm back in January and had to make recommendations how to conserve the wildlife and landscape on the farm.

The day was enjoyed by all and members felt it was a privilege to be invited.
