YOUNG Conservatives have formed their own branch in Torridge and West Devon for the under 30s.

The new Conservative Future branch is hoping to organise a range of social events and political activities, as well as supporting Geoffrey Cox, the Tories? prospective parliamentary candidate for West Devon and Torridge.

Deputy chairman of the group, Andrew Saywell from Shebbear, said: ?Young people are increasingly worried about their futures, particularly with regard to university tuition fees, jobs and the cost of living.

?This new branch has been specifically set up with young people in mind.?
