TAVISTOCK schoolboy Ben Bluett has scooped a gold medal this month in a national novice diving competition held in Shipley, West Yorkshire.
Ben, aged 7 and who attends St Rumon's School, won the gold medal in the boys U8s category, against competitors from Edinborough, Tynemouth and Leeds.
He scored a superb 107.5 out of a possible 135 points.
Earlier this month Ben raised more than £500 for Comic Relief with a sponsored 2.5k run.
