THE Great Devon Bake Off, held at Willestrew House, Lamerton last Saturday, raised an impressive £2,242.95 for Derriford Children’s Cancer Service and Tanya’s Courage Trust.

The judges for the event were local comedian Jethro and celebrity masterchef Peter Gorton (pictured below with bakers).

Organiser Sarah Kitson expressed thanks to everyone who attended, donated prizes and helped to set up the event.

Adult winners were 1, Maryann Farrington; 2, Cedric Lepeldlad; 3, Sah Geake. Children’s winners were 1, Sophie Gill; 2, Grace Davis; 3, Jules Barron-Robinson.
