A SPECIAL workshop focussing on farm hedges is being held at Bere Alston this Saturday, November 1 ? an event forming part of Devon Hedge Week.
The hedge management workshop takes place at Ferry Farm and is aimed at landowners who have farm hedges to manage, but are not quite sure how to start.
The workshop will include discussions about the right way to manage local hedges for wildlife and also be stockproof, plus practical demonstrations by Tavistock and District Conservation Project.
Participants should bring their own refreshments and wear waterproof clothing and suitable footwear for rough or wet ground ? sorry, no dogs.
