A TWO-day summer workshop is being held at Walkhampton Memorial Hall to give musicians the chance to play in an ensemble. David Gray, brass instrumental and music theory teacher, and Jenni Martin, woodwind instrumental and music theory teacher, will be running the workshop. The course is being held on Wednesday, August 8 and Thursday 9 from 10am to 4pm on both days. The days will consist of playing new music which will be performed in a concert at the end of the second day. The workshop is designed to be of a standard to help improve sight-reading and playing skills. The cost for one day is £16, and £25 for both days.
