FIREFIGHTERS from Tavistock were called to a property in Lamerton at lunchtime on Sunday, after a chimney fire was reported.

The crew, led by watch commander Glen Arundel, used a hosereel and further equipment to extinguish the fire, involving a woodburning stove.
