THE UK’s only live show dedicated to the world’s greatest female rock legends will be brought to The Wharf in Tavistock tonight (Friday).

With two of the most powerful female singers on the live music scene, together with a professional touring band, Women in Rock delivers a show stopping performance covering all the great legends through the ages.

They are proud to claim that they’re not just a tribute, but a celebration to all women who simply rock! Among the women who have carved out a niche in the industry included in the set are Pat Benator, Heart, Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, Chrissie Hynde, Lita Ford and Vixen.

Band member Kim Rego Neaves said: ‘I saw a niche in the tribute band market for this. There are lots of bands dedicated to just one performer — there are thousands out there but I noticed there was none that I knew of that were dedicated to just the fantastic array of women vocalists so here we are with Women in Rock.’
