A YOUNG woman had to be cut from her vehicle after a collision in Southern Road, Callington, on Friday night. The 18-year-old Callington woman was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious leg injuries after her Peugeot 106 collided with a Peugeot 206 at 6.10pm. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle received minor injuries. Southern Road was closed and diversions were set up. Both cars were taken away by recovery vehicles. Firefighters from Callington, Saltash and Bodmin were at the scene for one and a half hours.
