POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a seven-year-old boy was bitten by a dog in Church Street, Callington on September 3.

The boy was taken to Derriford Hospital after the bite to his arm which resulted in stitches. The incident occurred at 2.10pm and involved a brown Labrador-type dog.

Anyone who saw the incident is asked to call Callington police on the 101 number quoting the log number BN/12/579.
