A SOLID performance saw Lamerton maintain pressure on the league leaders with this defeat of lowly St Dominick.

Will Cann opened the scoring latching on to an Andy Williams through-ball and hammering it past the visitor's keeper.

Then, after being narrowly wide with two headers, Sean Cann made it 2-0, a score which remained until half time.

The second half became more one-sided with Kev Pethick, Sean Cann and Rob Tremblett all coming close. The home side had to be content with one final goal however, when debut man Danny O'Hare took a Jimmy Cole pass and slotted the ball into the corner of the net.

This Saturday Lamerton are at home to Gunnislake in the knock-out cup.
