I FEEL that I must write to protest against the orgy of destruction that has taken place along the peaceful riverside path beside the Walkham from Bedford Bridge car park that is much used by walkers and dog owners. Small trees have been uprooted and the footpath bulldozed into a muddy mess ? all to enable the installation of yet another cycle path. It is an absolute disgrace that those who are supposedly responsible for these footpaths have allowed a pleasant rural walk to be ruined just to get access to build even more cycle track for the occasional use of a handful of people.
