VILLAGERS in South Zeal may have wondered for some months now why their morning mail has been popped through the letterbox accompanied by a burst of jaunty song. The reason behind the early morning melodies will be revealed on stage, in Okehampton?s Charter Hall during the week beginning Monday, February 21, when Perry the Postman will be delivering mirth instead of mail. As dame in ?The Fairy Dream?, the panto being staged by the Courtenay Players, Postman Perry Vallance will be putting his personal stamp on an ever-popular traditional character. Any tickets still available for the panto, which ends its run on Saturday, February 26, can be found at the United Church?s 50/50 shop in the Arcade, Okehampton.
