Well, it seems there are 26 acres of food producing land for sale at a price and borough executives and chamber of trade leaders are going delirious with excitement.
There is much talk too about 800 residential houses being built as well, also on food-producing land and that is going to bring us several steps closer to heaven. I wonder why?
While we are alive and kicking on this planet we claim that this bit and that bit is mine, but we are only here for a short while, why not spare a thought for those who are following after us?
Strange as it may seem none of the food we eat grows on supermarket shelves, it grows on that old food-producing land out there, beyond the bounds of mankind's urban sprawl, where in my cases no grub has been produced for centuries.
One excited citizen gazing into the future looks forward to a spanking new hospital. No amount of new hospitals can breathe life into us if there are no milk, butter, bread or meat or vegetables available and survival in a half starved condition would be but a miserable one.
