THE Winsford Trust's May programme continues with 'Songs from the Potting Shed' on Sunday May 22, following on from their recent quiz evening at Halwill Junction Parish Hall.

The event, organised in association with Beaford Arts and Opera playhouse, will be an outdoor operatic performance. The innovative performance will focus on all things horticultural, and will take place outside the Winsford Centre.

The Winsford Trust runs events throughout the year, raising funds to assist with the upkeep of the unique arts and crafts community building in Halwill Junction, and the projects run from the centre.

The event kicks off with an early summer supper from 4.30pm, followed with the show at 6pm. Tickets cost £12.50 for adults, £5 for children and £30 for a family ticket. All tickets include food and the performance. There will be a licensed bar.
