THERE are two questions I would like to put to our promise-making political leaders at this election time. Number one — Why haven't you been putting those issues right during the past five years? Instead, we now have an overstretched NHS, with A and E in crisis, hospitals on red or black alert and operations cancelled, because lack of after care causes bed blocking. And there has been a failure to train the doctors and nurses we need. Immigration is out of control, with economic migrants adding to the strain of housing and the NHS. Our children are being sexualised, and committed Christians are being made criminals if they talk about their faith, preach what the Bible says or refuse a service if it clashes with their conscience. We seem to be sleepwalking into totalitarian Marxism. Number Two — What are you going to do to restore freedom of speech? I have been looking through the various party manifestos and only UKIP has promised to 'Safeguard Britain's Freedoms and Heritage'. Where do the other parties stand on this important issue?
