CLEARBROOK Village Hall is hosting a new show 'When Peggy met Ella' featuring two of the UK's most accomplished jazz singers next week.
The show, introduced by Andrew Brewis, will see singers Sarah Moule and Shireen Francis come together to celebrate their musical icons Peggy Lee and Ella Fitzgerald with anecdotes and personal interpretations of their signature songs in a programme of classic jazz.
The ladies' individual singing careers have seen them perform sell-out shows at Ronnie Scott's Club, the Royal Festival Hall, on BBC Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night and in theatres, jazz clubs and festivals throughout the UK.
The show is on Friday, February 21. Tickets, at £8, are available by calling 01822 852584 or on the door from 7.30pm.
