I WALK my dog, daily, in the Okehampton area. One favourite walk is Abbeyford Woods. I could not believe my eyes, one morning last week, on arriving in the main car park area, to see what had been dumped there. A double divan base plus mattress, a television, two complete car wheels and other small items of furniture. Last week, in another parking area, a car had been set on fire and left a burnt out shell. I just cannot understand the mentality of people who can do this. We have some of the most beautiful walks and scenery in Devon. Please, whoever you are, don?t desecrate it!
