THE weather was again the winner on Saturday when Okehampton Argyle 1st XI?s East Devon Cup match at St Loyes and the second and third XIs? home league matches were all postponed because of waterlogged pitches.

A handful of league games were played in the Premier Division but results had little effect on the league position.

Argyle remain fourth from bottom, but still have a good chance of closing the gap on the six teams above them when they entertain Willand Rovers at Simmons Park this week, kick-off 2.30pm.
