THE Dartmoor Partnership, the official tourism organisation for the moor, has launched a brand new website.
The site —http://www.dartmoor.co.uk">www.dartmoor.co.uk — has been designed by New Mind web developers to create a fully interactive website for visitors, showing places to stay, where to eat, and things to do. The site has been launched as part of the Active Dartmoor Project, a three year campaign with the aim of raising the profile of the area as a centre of activity for all ages and abilities.
It is the last major step in the project and accompanies the Dartmoor iPhone app and 'Active Dartmoor' magazine to provide locals and tourists alike with easier access to better information on the area.
Keith Green, chairman for the Dartmoor Partnership said: 'The Dartmoor website offers visitors a huge resource, making it easier to plan their trip, make accommodation bookings, find out where to dine, what bus to catch, and where to get kit, as well as downloading routes for free. We want everyone to enjoy Dartmoor, all ages and abilities.'
