I REFER to 'Euro boost to create a gem,' (Front page, Times, March 15).
When will people wake up to the fact that any so called European funding is only a small fraction of the money paid by the UK into Europe in the first place, currently running at all but £50 - million a day.
Some politicians say we can't leave, I say we can walk away.
For some 13 or 14 years the auditors have refused to accept the European accounts. Any company that couldn't balance its books for just one year would soon be forced to cease trading, why is Europe continuing to do so?
