WHITCHURCH Wayfarers Cricket Club start their season outdoors on Saturday April 26 with Colts registration, starting at 10.30am.
This is for all junior members from U11 to U18. Membership for juniors remains at £10 for the season.
Mike Chetwynd of Chetwynd Sports will be on hand to advise on all aspects of cricket equipment and will have items of kit available for sale. There will also be club shirts available for sale from the club secretary. The U11s will have their first outdoor practice session from 10am to 11.30am.
Regrettably the U11s and U15s are at full capacity but there are still places for U13s so please contact Gavin Hall on 01822 616891.
The senior season gets under way that afternoon at 2.30pm with a friendly fixture against Yelverton, followed by a quiz night in the clubhouse.
The seniors are in action again on Sunday the 27th with a friendly against Belstone, again starting at 2.30pm. Both matches are at home.
