LANDSCAPE painter Craig Long is exhibiting a new collection of works at the Dartmoor National Park's High Moorland Visitor Centre in Princetown.
Craig started painting shortly after moving to Devon in 2000 and driven by a passion for the beauty of the area he quickly developed his strong and distinctive style.
His unusual application of watercolour has become his trademark, building layers of paint one on top of another to gain a rich depth of colour and detail rarely seen with watercolour. Watercolour is still the backbone of his work today although he also paints in gouache, acrylic and oils.
Craig's work is popular at home and abroad and has been chosen for numerous greetings cards, calendars and, more recently, book covers.
The High Moorland Centre is open from 10am to 5pm and admission is free.
