FURTHER to Mrs Hicks's letter (Times, December 6), not only are the green boxes heavy, cumbersome and dangerous to carry, especially when negotiating steps, but the lids act as reservoirs, filling with water when it rains.
I wonder if the designer consulted any elderly or disabled people before the boxes were constructed.
