Work on the gas mains in Watts Road, Tavistock took an unexpected turn when a water pipe was apparently fractured, sending plumes of water up into the sky.

The work is part of that being carried out on Watts Road and neighbouring Spring Hill by gas infrastructure Wales and West Utilities to upgrade the gas infrastructure in the area.
