Plymouth and West Devon mens' Sunday division two.

Brook Inn Wanderers 0

Walkhampton 4

ON a hard pitch at Plympton, Walkhampton gained promotion to division one. They took 40 minutes to break Brook Inn down when a corner from the left was flicked on and captain John Francis, making 75 consecutive games for the club, smashed the ball home from 12 yards.

Four minutes later it was 2-0 when Graham Galway lobbed the keeper from 18 yards.

The second half saw Walkhampton in full control and after 54 minutes Kyle McLaughlin broke though the Brook Inn defence and flicked the ball home.

The fourth goal came from the penalty spot after Graham Galway was dragged down. Galway calmly took the kick for his second.

There was no way back for Brook Inn they were under pressure for long spells of the half and never looked like scoring against the best defence in the division.
