IT MIGHT be January, but South West Lakes Trust says it's not too early to book a place on its annual Christmas tree walk.
Nearly 40 people took to the woods last month to find their ultimate Christmas tree.
Neil Reeves, South West Lakes Trust countryside manager for Devon, said: 'The walk was a huge success, and we even managed to get a break in the weather during a particularly stormy period.'
Participants were also treated to a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie once the hard work was done.
Not only does the walk give people the opportunity to cut down their own tree it also teaches them about the woodlands and wildlife around the reservoir.
This annual family event is extremely popular and booking in advance is advised to avoid disappointed.
