STAMPING out breast cancer is a huge task —but three inspirational women from Yelverton are hoping to do their bit as they take part in the world's only moonlit marathon.

Linda Barrett, Sue Cockayne and Sheila Glanville from Yelverton Post Office are taking part in the Playtex Moonwalk 2004, a power walk following the 26-mile route of the London Marathon, starting at midnight in Hyde Park.

They will be joining over 15,000 men and women from all over the UK and rubbing shoulders with a host of celebrities - previous moonwalkers have included Gail Porter, Lorraine Kelly and Victoria Wood.

The moonwalk is organised by the charity Walk the Walk, which is approaching its sixth anniversary having raised an amazing £12m for breast cancer research and cancer care.
