CELEBRATE Great Landscapes Week by joining a guided walk around Old Solomon?s Farm, Latchley, on Saturday (June 25) to learn about the mining history discovered there. Mike Blake from the farm, which dates back to the 14th Century, will lead the walk which passes a medieval farm wall, two weirs on the river that serviced Devon Great Consols Mine, the site of a footbridge over the river that miners used to get to work and other evidence of mining heritage.
