HISTORIC Lewtrenchard Manor is hosting the third of the very popular series of walks and lunches in support of the Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal this month.

Participants will be able to to enjoy coffee at the manor, followed by a guided walk through the beautiful surrounding woodland which will be sprinkled with May flowers.

The event, on May 19, concludes with a fine two-course lunch cooked by chef patron Jason Hornbuckle.

The cost of this memorable event is just £15 and there will be an opportunity to donate to the appeal.

The event is being hosted by the Children's Hospice South West Tavistock Friends Group and the local walks organiser, Pat Coxson, would like to welcome all walkers and lovers of good food.
