TO help make your decision on which way to vote on the War Memorial re-location issue, please consider the following points:
l The Court building behind has an uncertain future (maybe a theme pub).
l Next to the public toilets
l Surrounded by cars.
Wouldn't it be more pleasant to sit by the memorial in the tranquil surroundings of the churchyard in a small garden of remembrance, in the position where it was meant to go in 1921?
When in the churchyard it will be protected from developments and new planning. It will remain safe forever after all the old service men have long gone.
Don't miss this opportunity to put it where it should have been in the first place.
