Volunteers all over Devon are the cause of celebration during Volunteers' Week (June 1 to 7) for the enormous contribution they make to communities across the county. More than 5,000 volunteers are registered with volunteer centres in Devon, as well as several thousand more who have arranged their volunteering independently. Between them they support thousands of organisations, large and small. During Volunteers' Week, volunteer centres are sending out certificates to commemorate volunteers' contributions and support — anyone who has participated in the volunteer survey 'Count Me In!' will receive one — as well as being entered into a cash prize draw.
