WEST Devon Volunteer Centre is celebrating this year's Make a Difference Day with events at the National Trust's Lydford Gorge on Wednesday October 27 between 11am and 12.30pm and 1.30pm and 3pm.

Activities will include path clearing, sweeping and raking.  Children need to be over eight years old. Adults and children should bring gloves and wear stout footwear and warm clothing.

Those families with younger children can enjoy the Hallowe'en activities in the tent. There are tea-rooms at both entrances where light refreshments are available to buy.
