PUPPETCRAFT Theatre's creative team, led by founder John Roberts, has come up with yet another delightful show which will be performed at Broadwoodkelly this month.

'The Tin Forest' combines all the best of theatre for children. Strong storyline, great music and sound effects and a visual feast with colourful shadow scenes, mechanical birds, wind-up circus and exotic animals .

Focussing on the imaginative use of 'scrap' materials and found objects, the PuppetCraft team manage to create beauty out of the most unlikely bits of 'junk'. For the old man who lives in the dreary scrapyard, life becomes suddenly more colourful as dreams begin to come true.

This show has an added bonus with a 'Junk Music and Animated Sculpture Workshop' for children, before the show begins. No experience is required for this fun workshop for children from seven and up.

The Tin Forest is at Broadwoodkelly Village Hall on February 19. The workshop begins at 2.30pm and the performance at 5pm. Places are limited for the workshop. Tickets priced at £3.50 and £1.50 are available from Winkleigh Post Office or call 01837 83625.
