MEAVY Flower Society held its summer show on Saturday August 9, at which visitors were asked to vote for the winning entries in each class.
An increased number of exhibits from last year made a colourful display in classes for pot plants, cut flowers, shrubs, flower arrangements and vegetables.
The large raffle, the plant stall and sale of teas, cakes and ? on a very hot afternoon ? plenty of orange squash, all made good profits.
