THE sixth Merton vintage and classic vehicle rally on May 5 will see more attractions and vehicles than ever.
One hundred vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, tractors and more will be on display at the rally.
A 1937 Austin 7 Cabriolet and a 1927 Rolls Royce Phantom I will be among the vehicles on display. Also entered this year is a 1918 Steam Fowler BB1 Ploughing Machine. The 'Old Lady' has exhibited at Dorset Steam Fair, and will be a highlight of the Merton rally.
The music group Moor Reason will be in attendance, performing songs from 1pm and promoting their new EP.
There will be lots of craft and local produce stalls, an art exhibition, rides in a Rolls Royce and a 1950 OB Bedford Bus, fairground rides, and plenty of refreshments.
Torrington Silver Band will perform a concert, and gun dog displays, a VW simulator, and an appearance from the fire brigade are among the other attractions.
Admission costs £2 for adults, £1 for under 16s and free to under fives.
The rally can be found at the Clinton Hall from 11am to 5pm, on the A386 between Hatherleigh and Torrington.
