Parish councillors at their meeting last Wednesday decided it was time burial fees in the village churchyard and cemetery were increased.
Interment fees are currently £60, with exclusive rights to a plot costing £50, and siting of a vase £25.
Interment fees are doubled for those who have not lived in the parish.
The council agreed to increase the interment fees by £10 and by £5 for siting a vase - the first review of the fees for more than four years.
It was pointed out that burial fees in Bridestowe are low compared with those in many other parishes.
