THE history of a West Devon village will be on display for all to see next week in a village exhibition and guided tour.

Exbourne Local History Group is holding the event in association with English Heritage open days on Saturday September 11.

Photographs, memorabilia and researched information about Exbourne and local organisations will be on display at the exhibition, which will be opened by the mayor and mayoress of West Devon, Cllr and Mrs John Hockridge.

A guided tour has also been organised by the group, who have been researching various buildings in the village.

The exhibition is in Exbourne Village Hall from 2pm to 6.30pm, with the guided tour starting at 3pm. Admission to the event is free and cream teas will be available throughout the afternoon.
