A PUBLIC meeting will be held in Tavistock next Monday, aimed at giving residents a chance to talk about current world events and explore the way forward.
The event, organised by Tavistock Peace Action Group, will include several presentations and group discussions. The event will end with music and songs.
Gill Gorbutt, who will chair the evening, said: 'This meeting will be an informal opportunity for the people of Tavistock to share their hopes and concerns and to exchange ideas.
'We want to provide an open and friendly forum in which people of all views can express their feelings and engage in debate on these difficult issues.'
The meeting will be held at the Methodist Church Hall in Chapel Street, between 7.30pm and 10pm on Monday November 12.
