A PLANNING application is being prepared for the former Harewood House site in Tavistock and people are being invited to a public exhibition on Tuesday to view the plans for a new retirement living development.

Churchill Retirement Living is preparing the application for the retirement living development, which will provide around 48 apartments for the over 60s.

The public exhibition will be held at Tavistock United Reformed Church in Russell Street, Tavistock on Tuesday, May 2 from 5pm until 7pm, where members of the local community will have the opportunity to see the proposals and meet members of the development team.

Plans for the development will also be available to view online from May 3 at www.churchillretirement.co.uk/planning/live-consultations/
