STAFF at OCRA are planning a special variety show extravaganza to raise funds for the new sports pavilion.

Lynne Rogers, one of the extravaganza organisers, said: 'I have been lucky to have lived in many places but I have never come across such a great community organization such as OCRA.

'The clubs that they offer, for all ages, along with the holiday schemes are just great as there is such a variety, and I regularly leave my child in the care of their staff, very happily, as do many people.

'We are very excited at the prospect not only of fundraising, but the chance to use all aspects of the building as part of our show.

'We are planning to rehearse through the summer and the offer people the opportunity to buy a ticket, come along and join the in the fun.'

If you are around for a part of or all of the summer holidays, you can sign up tomorrow (Friday) at 3.30pm at the pavilion.

Whether you would like to take part performing or want to be involved backstage, all are welcome.
