A WEST Devon charity has had its premises attacked by vandals twice in the last week.
The large window of the Youthwize offices in Pixon Lane industrial estate was smashed with a workman's sign during Friday evening last week, causing £300 worth of damage.
And when staff arrived at work on Tuesday morning they found another large window broken by a traffic cone, causing a similar amount of damage.
Diane Simpson, of Youthwize, said: 'Obviously we are only a small charity and it could have major consequences for us if this continued to happen.
'We've not experienced anything like this before. We are a local charity working with young people — this feels like a kick in the teeth to us.'
The incidents have been reported to Tavistock Police.
PC Colin Rodwell would like to hear from anyone who has any information about the incidents. He said police were particularly concerned because the charity runs on a small budget.
